My apologies for a late mailing this week….

Tuesday marks one year since the first lockdown began and we’re encouraged to join in an act of prayer and remembrance. I’ve attached the service that the Church of England has put together, which you might like to use in your home on Tuesday. I will be leading it on Zoom at 7pm, we’ll be finished by 7:20 prior to Lydford PCC which begins at 7:30. Keinton Church will be open as usual on Tuesday afternoon and you might like to go there to spend a moment in prayer and reflection.

Our service this week utilises the reflection provided by the Diocese of Bath and Wells, this week from Ian Tomkinson the chair of the Diocesan Board of Finance.

Next Sunday 28 March, Palm Sunday there will be a service on YouTube, and at 4pm Faith ‘n Fun will gather in the Churchyard and we’ll tell the Easter Story together. For the following three weeks there will be Easter Trails in all four churchyards, with an Easter Egg available for each child who completes each churchyard. Details are on the trail which I will send out next week.

On 4 April, Easter Day we’ll gather for In-person worship in Lydford Car Park and Churchyard. Please book via https://emea01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwheathill.org%2F&data=04%7C01%7C%7Cf20309da335545fdd9fd08d8eadce9f2%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637517582114823460%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=bBbvD3ChkCTucFTPF5%2BsRpX27ISLcfbjw1w5viFnRS0%3D&reserved=0

I hope that you’re well and enjoying some longer days, with less mud and a bit more sun from time to time!

Best wishes

Good afternoon

I hope that this finds you well

Please accept my apologies for not managing to get the Ash Wednesday service onto YOuTube, it is now there and I’ve added in the music since that (along with other things) didn’t work!

Attached are the notes for this week including Sunday’s service, which uses Morning Prayer in Lent and the details for the various Zoom calls.

Sunday’s worship will be a playlist on the YouTube channel as usual, you can find that here:

https://emea01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fchannel%2FUC9tB_kpGA8SZwwyE9AmKvmg%2Fplaylists&data=04%7C01%7C%7C6f31010155414116003b08d8d40f383a%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637492509245382599%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=T8vLTf3dNw0Bw974HaBIT0W9qPuMMdYj8dA8tmygSYk%3D&reserved=0

Our Lent Course begins this week, details of what we’re covering are on the notice sheet attached, I have arranged to go somewhere with more stable internet, that isn’t in someone else’s home in the hope that means I avoid the problems we had on Wednesday evening, I look forward to seeing you there.

Sunday morning coffee continues, please do consider coming it is a good opportunity to see one another and to catch up, we can use breakout groups if our numbers increase.

Thank you, I hope that you stay well and safe

Best wishes
