Unfortunately, the weather for tomorrow is not looking good.  If it is wet the Crib Service will move inside at Keinton Mandeville.

                11:15pm Holy Communion, Keinton Mandeville

25 December 2021

                8:30am Holy Communion, Barton St David

                10:30am Christmas All Age Celebration, Lydford on Fosse.

There is no worship in our church buildings this Sunday (26 December); we will post Bishop Ruth’s reflection to the YouTube channel.  There is a short service of Holy Communion at St Ben’s in Glastonbury at 10:00am.

Worship on Sunday 2 January is:

                                8:30am Holy Communion Keinton Mandeville

                                10:30am Morning Prayer Lydford on Fosse.

Please find attached this week’s notice sheet.

As we draw nearer to Christmas there are plans for carols out and about and the ones I’m aware of are:

                Friday 17 December 6.00pm – Around the Keinton Mandeville Tree outside Keinton Stores,
                Tuesday 21 December 6.00pm (I think!)- Barton St David, Stock’s Green

Our plans for the week are:

Sunday 19 December

                8:30am Holy Communion            Lydford on Fosse

                3.00pm Carol Service in Kingweston Grain store
parking available on the hardstanding (we will have parking attendants on site!) Please wrap up warm and, if possible, bring your own chair. There are some on site but not enough for everyone!

There will be another notice sheet next week, but our Christmas services are planned as follows:

Christmas Eve

             4.00pm Crib Service Keinton Mandeville
(we hope to be in the churchyard but will be in church if it is wet!)

                11:15pm Holy Communion          Keinton Mandeville

Christmas Day

                8:30am Holy Communion            Barton St David

                10:30am Christmas Celebration Lydford on Fosse

We will be continuing to track and trace at all indoor services and masks are also mandatory at indoor services.

Please note:

The Advent Course is now in The Rectory and this week happens on Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening.

Worship this Sunday:

8:30am Holy Communion, Keinton Mandeville

10:30am Morning Worship and the Baptism of Felix Bliss at Lydford. All are welcome!

Next week we have 8:30 Holy Communion at Barton St David and at 4.00pm there will be a Christmas Concert, given by the Benefice Choir and other musicians of all ages, in St Peter’s, Lydford.

We’re continuing to wear masks in church and to use Track & Trace.
