I’m writing this email on Thursday 14 July, and at the time of writing we do not yet have funeral details for Nigel Woollcombe-Adams. Hilda Esain’s funeral is Thursday 4 August, 11.30am Mendip Crematorium.

There are two meetings to prepare for Holiday Club: 8 August at 7.30pm and 25 August at 10:00am, both in the Methodist Church. There are flyers for holiday club in our churches, please take some to pass onto families you know if appropriate

Our worship on Sunday 3 July is:

12:45pm Baptism Keinton Mandeville [we’ve been asked to wear masks for this service].

In the bulletin there are details of how to contribute towards a leaving gift for Craig and Elizabeth Manley, the Methodist minister and his wife who are heading to pastures new. Please give you gift in an envelope labelled ‘Craig Manley’ so that we can collate them all.

There are also details of the diocesan confirmation service in November; please speak to Jane if you’d like to think about confirmation.

Next Sunday 12 July we’re in Kingweston Church at 10:30am for a Benefice Service.

Good morning and welcome to this week’s mailing.

Our worship on Sunday is:

10:30am Morning Prayer for St Peter’s Day Lydford on Fosse followed by BBQ

4pm Faith ‘n Fun Keinton Mandeville (Bring your Teddy bear ready to make them a parachute and watch them come down from the tower).

From this Sunday we’re collecting gifts for those who would like to give something to Craig and Elizabeth Manley as they depart for pastures new. We will worship together on 31 July in the Village Hall followed by a Bring and Share lunch. Between now and 24 July please give your gift in an envelope, labelled for Craig to a church warden and they will ensure that we collate the gifts ready to give to them on 31 July.
