How is life going? Maybe we’re beginning to long for rain, Jane Sedgman reflects on gardens, farming, growing and this season of lockdown in our service this week. We’re using the service for Spiritual reception that is on this site, you can find it here:
The reflection and prayers of intercession are here:
As usual there is Zoom ‘After/Before Church coffee on Sunday morning at 10:00 please contact Jane if you’d like login details.
Between Ascension, which is remembered on Thursday 21 May and Pentecost, which is 31 May there are 10 days of prayer, Thy Kingdom come (TKC) this year it is obviously slightly different to usual, but we can still pray:
- Remembering all those whose lives have been affected by Coronavirus
- Remembering our health care workers, both in hospitals and the care sector
- There might be friends or family we’d like to pray for (Thy Kingdom Come encourages us to pray for 5 friends in particular
- For our Government and international governments.
You can find some resources for this time here: https://www.thykingdomcome.global/
These include resources for families, children, adults with ideas too as to how our prayer can be linked to care. During the 10 days an App can help you to pray and to focus, you can find this on Aimer Media, search for Thy Kingdom Come.
Hope that you have a good week
Jane
