Vicar on a Bike and Keinton Mandeville Reordering
Keinton PCC has for several years discussed making the building more accessible and versatile, removing the trip hazard of the pew platforms and making space for wheelchairs, push chairs and for us to do things differently. We intend to keep four pews which will be able to move, and to have chairs for most of the congregation. Some of the chairs will have arms.
There are currently six chairs in Keinton church, please do sit on them, and note your preferred chairs [first, second and third choice] on the yellow sheet stuck on the vestry door.
To raise some funds for this Jane Durham is cycling 275km this summer. She is visiting 15 of the 17 other St Mary Magdalene Churches across the diocese over five days.
She would love people to sponsor her, and to encourage others to do so too.
[21 July Sparkford and Stowell [48km]]
[28 July Ditcheat and Upton Noble [56 km]]
21 August Exford, Winsford, Withiel Florey, Clatworthy and Taunton [60km]

Jane says, ‘Please do support me, and if you’d like to see me on the road then follow the Instagram account for details of where I will be when. My fundraising goal for this challenge is £15,000 please help if you can.’

There are several different ways that you can do this:
Fill in a sponsor form and either give cash or use the giving gizmo to pay. Please make sure that you only use Keinton or Kingweston’s gizmos and that Jane Durham or Debbie von Bergen know that you’ve paid and how you paid.
Fill in a sponsor form and write a cheque to Keinton Mandeville with Kingweston PCC.
Fill in a sponsor form and use the bank details to pay by BACS, with the reference Bike.
Use the Just Giving QR code [but feel free to reduce the amount Just Giving suggest you give them]. You can just search for Vicar on a Bike on Just Giving.
There are posters and ‘luggage label’ type give aways to give people that will give access to the Just Giving page.
Thank you for your support.
