Our worship on Sunday is 8:30am in Keinton Mandeville for Holy Communion and 10:30am in Lydford on Fosse for Morning Prayer.

We seem to have had a gremlin in the livestreaming in recent weeks; we’re trying to sort it out but failing a livestream, the service will be uploaded to YouTube as soon as possible after it ends. Last week’s service and the commemoration service from Kingweston are both on the website now. We also continue to upload a short version of the service to the phone line 01458552155 each Sunday, so available from Monday morning.

Sunday 14 November is Remembrance Sunday; we’re going to hold the whole service outside in the car park around the War Memorial at St Peter’s, Lydford, to enable as many as possible to attend. If you’re able to bring your own chairs please do, but we will provide some as well and obviously wrap up as warm as possible! We will also hold the usual acts of Remembrance on Thursday 11 November at 10:50am in Barton St David [from the playing field side] and Friday 12 at 10:45am in Keinton Churchyard.

Worship on Sunday is in Kingweston at 10:30am, a celebration for All Saints Day.

Are you coming to the concert in Kingweston on Friday evening at 7:30pm? Please contact Jane Sedgman if you have not already requested your ticket, they can be paid for on the door.

Monday evening at 7pm sees our annual All Souls commemoration service. Please come if you would like to remember someone in the context of prayer and worship.  The service will be livestreamed (or recorded and uploaded…).

Next Friday 29 October we have a Concert of ‘Light and Hope’, to celebrate the new lights in Kingweston church. Tickets are £10 per person (including light refreshments in the interval) and are available from Jane Sedgman, 01458223237 or sedgmanjane@gmail.com.

Please also note our plans for Remembrance: we will be meeting in villages as usual and our Sunday service will take place entirely outside as a way of limiting Covid transmission.

We do ask that all those who attend a service or concert in our churches wear a facemask and distancing is available for those who wish to maintain it.

Good afternoon

Please see attached details for October Faith ‘n Fun next Sunday 24 October 4pm in Keinton churchyard.

We realise that it is half term and that many will be away, but we hope that some will be able to come and join us.

We plan to decorate Jam Jars and toast marshmallows, thinking together about light and warmth as autumn continues and days shorten.
