Forthcoming events and dates for your diary.
Looking ahead to the Autumn – have you wondered about helping out with reading or prayers, or setting up church?
We need some more volunteers to help read, lead us in prayer and set up the churches. We will hold three evenings to think about what is involved in each of these. If you already pray/read or set up please feel free to come along as well, both to help us all think together and so we can talk about what we do.
The remaining evening is:
25 September – Leading Prayers Lydford on Fosse
1 October – Setting up and welcoming Barton St David.
We will then start our series on the Nicene Creed on 16th October at the Rectory.
Sunday 14 September, Visit from Brother Hugh, a Franciscan from the Hilfield Community in Dorset who will be speaking on Eco church and our response to the Environment.
Our Harvest Festival is on 5 October at 1100 in Keinton Mandeville, followed by a Harvest Lunch; please do book your place using the details in the magazine.
