Looking ahead to the Autumn – have you wondered about helping out with reading, prayers or setting up church?
We need some volunteers to help read, lead us in prayer and set up the churches. We will hold three evenings to think about what is involved in each of these. If you already pray/read or set up please feel free to come along as well, both to help us all think together and so we can talk about what to do.
The evenings are:-
4 September – Reading in Church
25 September – Leading Prayers
1 October – Setting up and welcoming.
We will then start our series on the Nicene Creed on 16 October at the Rectory.
Sunday 14 September 1030, visit from Brother Hugh, a Franciscan from the Hilfield Community in Dorset. He will be speaking on Eco Church and our response to the Environment. The service will be followed by a Bring and Share lunch in Barton Village Hall.
