This week’s bulletin is attached, as is a copy of the flyer for our holiday club from 30 August – 1 September [Tuesday – Thursday].

Our worship on Sunday 3 July is:

8:30am Holy Communion Lydford n Fosse

10:30am Morning Prayer Barton St David

12:45pm Baptism Keinton Mandeville [we’ve been asked to wear masks for this service].

In the bulletin there are details of how to contribute towards a leaving gift for Craig and Elizabeth Manley, the Methodist minister and his wife who are heading to pastures new. Please give you gift in an envelope labelled ‘Craig Manley’ so that we can collate them all.

There are also details of the diocesan confirmation service in November; please speak to Jane if you’d like to think about confirmation.

Next Sunday 12 July we’re in Kingweston Church at 10:30am for a Benefice Service.

Good morning and welcome to this week’s mailing.

Our worship on Sunday is:

10:30am Morning Prayer for St Peter’s Day Lydford on Fosse followed by BBQ

4pm Faith ‘n Fun Keinton Mandeville (Bring your Teddy bear ready to make them a parachute and watch them come down from the tower).

From this Sunday we’re collecting gifts for those who would like to give something to Craig and Elizabeth Manley as they depart for pastures new. We will worship together on 31 July in the Village Hall followed by a Bring and Share lunch. Between now and 24 July please give your gift in an envelope, labelled for Craig to a church warden and they will ensure that we collate the gifts ready to give to them on 31 July.

6pm Songs of Praise on a garden theme Keinton Mandeville.

On Monday morning we have a Confirmation Service in Castle House; we can’t invite all to come, but please do pray for the candidate and for Bishop Trevor who is confirming her.

We also now go into Beech Tree Nursing Home on alternate Mondays (as well as Castle House); please pray for the residents of both homes.
